Who we are

Anchalik Jana Kalyan Anusthan ("AJKA", "we", "us") is a society registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860, with its registered office at At — Sukulpali, Po — Machida, Via — Panchgaon, PS — Rengali, Jharsuguda, Odisha – 768226, India.

What this website collects

This is a static website. It sets no cookies of its own, runs no advertising trackers, and does not profile visitors. Fonts and images are served from this site's own domain, so simply reading a page does not send your data to a third party.

There are no forms on this site, so there is nothing for you to submit and nothing is gathered as you read. The only personal data we hold is what you send us yourself, by email or telephone, using the details on our contact page.

Why we hold this information, and for how long

We keep what you send us so that we can reply and follow it up. Enquiries are retained for up to 24 months and then deleted, unless the law requires us to keep a record for longer.

Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. We share it only where we are legally required to — for example, reporting donation details to the Income Tax Department, or reporting foreign contributions to the Ministry of Home Affairs under FCRA — or with professional advisers such as our statutory auditor, who are bound by confidentiality.

Photographs and personal stories

We photograph and write about the communities we work with. We seek informed consent before publishing an identifiable photograph or a personal account, and additional safeguards apply to children under our Child Protection Policy. If you appear in a photograph on this site and would like it removed, contact us and we will remove it — no explanation needed.

Your rights

You may ask us to:

• tell you what personal data of yours we hold;
• correct anything that is inaccurate;
• delete it, where we are not legally required to keep it — records we must retain for tax or FCRA reporting are the main exception;
• stop sending you communications.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS. We apply reasonable organisational safeguards to the information we hold, and restrict access to staff who need it. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
